about Louise

 

Louise Holloway is an internationally positioned entrepreneur, educator, creative director & designer
in the fields of communication & design strategy. She is the Director of the Energy Endeavour Foundation.

 

Born in Canada, Louise completed her BFA at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University; 
with an endowment grant from the National Centre for Plastic Arts in Paris, she earned
her Master's degree from the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique. After years in the film,
advertising and publishing industries, she launched her Paris - Amsterdam communication consultancy,
working with clients such as the OECD, the Public Works Administration of Luxembourg,
Baccarat, Remy Cointreau, PepsiCo Europe and the Solar Decathlon Europe. Louise is a leader
in branding (diagnostics, positioning and identification), directing multi-disciplinary projects in
cross-cultural arenas, steering account management, creative marketing services and technical teams.

An inspiring, award-winning educator and leader, Louise builds bridges between client projects 
& academic initiatives. Currently, the emphasis is on communication, architecture & the smart citizen
in the urban landscape. Louise has taught & lectured at Parsons School of Design, The American University
in Paris, ESLSCA (l'Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées) & in the faculties
of architecture at TU Delft & RWTH Aachen. She is a regular thesis advisor & adjudicator for international
design competitions. Louise leads Master's & executive seminars, including missions with the American University
of Armenia, Shanghai Normal University & the Paris-based Ecole de Communication Visuelle.

With her expertise in project management, concept development, brand & broad-based
design strategy, Louise integrates creative methodologies into her client projects,
studios & labs, weaving words & pictures to produce effective, long-lasting communication solutions.
